From the toothpaste tube you open in the morning, to the green man that tells you when to cross a road, every visual that we see has been designed to convey a specific message to us.
Club Description
The creative process of developing these visual messages is known as Graphic Design.
This 5-session club will introduce budding artists to the creative endeavours of a Graphic Designer. Through a range of interactive lessons, kids will work alongside their like-minded club mates as they learn new ways of communicating and expressing themselves through digital art. From creating a personal brand to customising their own backdrop, this club will give your kids the creative confidence they need excel in our ever-evolving visual world.
This club will teach your child skills in the widely used graphic design program, Canva. This is a free program that kids can continue to use whenever they feel inspired, in between or after club sessions.
No graphic design experience is necessary to register for this club. As Pablo Picasso once said “Every child is an artist”
